Makes 6 slices

Ingredients

3 eggs
½ cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons Chef Paul Prudhomme’s Sweetie Magic®
1 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon Kosher salt
6 pieces French bread, cut on the bias, about 1-inch thick
2 to 4 tablespoon canola oil (adjust according to pan size)

How To Prepare

Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl, then add cream, vanilla, Sweetie Magic®, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Whisk well to combine. Heat oil in pan over medium heat. Add bread slices to the mixing bowl and soak for 20 to 30 seconds, then place in the heated pan. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes each side, or until golden brown and heated through. Serve immediately with your favorite syrup, whipped cream and fresh berries.
