Servings
Makes 1 ham
Ingredients
1 (8- to 10-pound) ham
2 cups light brown sugar
2 cups dark brown sugar
1 (6-ounce) can pineapple juice
1 tablespoon + 2 teaspoons Chef Paul Prudhomme’s Vegetable Magic®
2 cups light brown sugar
2 cups dark brown sugar
1 (6-ounce) can pineapple juice
1 tablespoon + 2 teaspoons Chef Paul Prudhomme’s Vegetable Magic®
How To Prepare
Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly score ham in a crisscross pattern and place in a roasting pan with a rack. In a bowl, mix the sugars, pineapple juice, and Vegetable Magic® and whisk until lumps are gone. Use a pastry brush or a spoon and glaze the ham until it is coated. Place ham in oven and cook for 2 hours, basting with glaze every 20 minutes. When ham is done, remove and place in a clean pan and pour hot glaze from roasting pan over the top. Carve and serve.
