Ingredients
HAND PIES
1¼ cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
⅓ cup milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
¼ cup Sweetie Magic®
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1¼ cups apple or pear, peeled, cored and small dice
GLAZE
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons Sweetie Magic®
3 to 4 tablespoons milk
1¼ cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
⅓ cup milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
¼ cup Sweetie Magic®
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1¼ cups apple or pear, peeled, cored and small dice
GLAZE
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons Sweetie Magic®
3 to 4 tablespoons milk
How To Prepare
Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
In a large bowl whisk flour, baking powder, milk, lemon juice, Sweetie Magic®, salt, vanilla extract, and eggs. Using a spatula, fold in the diced apple or pear and mix well.
Line the basket or rack with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray. Drop ¼ cup of the batter into lined basket or rack, be sure not to overcrowd it.
Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, then flip the fritters and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.
While the fritters are cooking, whisk the powdered sugar, Sweetie Magic® and milk. Set aside.
When both sides of the fritters are golden brown, remove from air fryer and transfer to a wire rack. Drizzle with the reserved glaze. Serve warm.
